  • Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) bludgeoning damage.
  • Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) slashing damage.
  • Tail: Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage.
  • Sandstorm Breath (Recharge 5-6): The dragon exhales a swirling sandstorm in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw, taking 49 (14d6) bludgeoning damage and being blinded for 1 minute on a failed save, or half as much damage and not blinded on a successful one. A blinded creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
  • Burrowing Strike: The dragon burrows up to half its burrowing speed and emerges to make a single bite attack with advantage against a creature within 10 feet, dealing an extra 10 (3d6) bludgeoning damage on a hit.

Legendary Actions

The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

  • Tail Attack: The dragon makes a tail attack.
  • Burrow (Costs 2 Actions): The dragon moves up to half its burrowing speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Special Abilities

  • Desert Resilience: The dragon has resistance to exhaustion caused by extreme heat and can move through difficult terrain (sand) without penalty.
  • Sand Veil: While in a sandstorm or heavy sand conditions, the dragon’s AC increases by 2, and it has advantage on Dexterity saving throws.
