A blinded creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. This ability can only be used during nighttime hours.
- Night Strike: The dragon makes a single bite attack with advantage against a creature that is blinded or in dim light or darkness, dealing an extra 10 (3d6) necrotic damage on a hit.
Legendary Actions

- Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions): The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 12 (2d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.
Special Abilities
- Nocturnal Empowerment: During nighttime, the dragon gains resistance to all damage except radiant, and its fly speed increases by 20 ft.
- Dark Vision: The dragon can see through its own Cloud of Darkness breath weapon and magical darkness out to its darkvision range.
